Whole Grain Barley for Cooking and Milling – Grown Regeneratively in Lancashire
A versatile British-grown grain, nurtured within our regenerative farming system here at Brow Farm.
Why Choose Our Barley?
-
Regeneratively Grown – no pesticides or fungicides, supporting soil health, biodiversity, and wildlife.
-
Nutrient-Dense – retains the full grain (not pearl barley), packed with natural goodness for bakers and cooks.
-
Versatile Use – ideal for milling into wholesome flour or cooking whole.
Baking & Cooking Benefits
Barley flour is a non-wheat flour that still contains some gluten, making it easier to work with than many gluten-free alternatives. Its mild, nutty flavour enriches breads, pastries, and everyday dishes.
From Our Farm to You
Harvested on the fertile soils of West Lancashire, our barley is carefully dried (if needed), cleaned, and stored on-site at Brow Farm. Every step is handled by us to maintain quality and traceability.
