Fresh, crunchy sprouts in just a few days


Also known as moong, green gram, or maash, these mung beans are one of the easiest and most popular legumes to sprout at home. With just a little care, you’ll grow crunchy, nutritious sprouts packed with potassium, magnesium, and fibre.

Toss them into salads, tuck into sandwiches, or stir through stir-fries for a fresh, slightly nutty bite. Our premium-grade beans are cleanly sourced.

To sprout:
Measure 2 tablespoons of mung beans into a 900ml (32oz) jar. Rinse thoroughly, then cover with water and soak overnight (8–12 hours). Next, drain well, rinse again briefly, and tip the jar to rest at an angle, out of direct sunlight. Repeat the rinse and drain process twice daily. After 3–4 days, once plump and crisp, your sprouts are ready to enjoy. Give them a final rinse and refrigerate if not using straight away.
